Why it exists

Nano Banana is a React and TypeScript application for image generation and conversational, region-aware editing using Google's Gemini 2.5 Flash image model. It supports text-to-image generation, up to two reference images, mask painting to target specific regions, custom seeds and a full version history. It was built with bolt.new as a vibe-coding project.
