Why it exists

A complete 2D platformer that runs in the browser, born as a personalised gift and grown into a small, polished arcade game. Pick a heroine, cross six themed worlds — forest, coral abyss, oriental rooftops, snowy peaks, twilight garden, royal castle — beat a multi-phase boss, and reach the Sala da Ballo finale, on desktop or phone, online or offline.

It plays as an arcade run: 3 lives, deaths cost a life, losing them all restarts from level 1, and finishing posts your score to a global leaderboard. Every sprite, tile, parallax background and music/SFX track is procedurally generated — no third-party art packs. Vanilla JavaScript ES modules with no build step: Kaplay is vendored and imported directly, so the game is just static files served as-is. Mobile-first and installable as a PWA with offline play.

Automated review based on the public listing, not hands-on testing.

Six themed worlds and a multi-phase boss sound substantial for a no-build browser platformer. Worth checking whether the procedurally generated pixel art keeps sprites readable against backgrounds at a glance, since contrast and shape clarity matter more than novelty for players who rely on quick visual parsing rather than colour alone during fast platforming sections.
