Why it exists

Video Gen Editor is a video generation platform built with Claude. It puts several AI video models in one browser tab: type a prompt, drop in a photo or attach a song, and get a clip back.

You describe the shot, optionally add reference images or audio, then pick a model, aspect ratio and length. The estimated cost of each clip is shown before you generate it, so models can be compared side by side.

Showing each clip's cost upfront before generation is a useful touch for a new user trying to budget across several AI video models. One thing worth clarifying: does the quoted cost update automatically if you swap the source model or input length, or is it a flat estimate regardless of settings? Would also like to know which file formats and resolutions the exported clips support.
