BitBox
A zero-dependency chiptune synth in the browser: sequence pulse, triangle and noise tracks over a generative starfield, then share the tune.

BitBox is a browser chiptune studio wrapped in a generative galaxy. Step-sequence pulse, triangle and noise channels, drop in presets like Boss, Cave, Title and Victory, tweak BPM and swing, and watch a particle starfield react to the music. Share a link to any tune you make. No dependencies, all in the page.

Hit Randomize then Play: the white playhead tracks the audio engine, particles jump from zero to 800 in each track's color right on the beat, and the sun visualizer pulses with it. The four presets (Boss, Cave, Title, Victory) sound distinct instead of just recolored. Switching pattern banks A to D feels like a real tracker, not a toy. Share compresses the whole thing into the URL hash: I reloaded that link cold in a new tab and got every step back exactly. FPS sits low at idle by design, then climbs to 77 mid-playback. No console errors either way.
