Why it exists

ActSolo.AI is an AI-powered rehearsal partner that lets actors run lines with a responsive scene partner in a teleprompter interface. It parses your script, tracks your lines, and connects an ElevenLabs conversational AI agent so you can practice live with realistic voices, streaming your microphone audio and keeping the rehearsal UI in sync with the script. It is built with Lovable, Supabase and ElevenLabs.

As a solo founder juggling everything myself, I get why this exists — running lines with a flatmate isn't always possible. I tried it with a monologue and the ElevenLabs voice actually sounded like a real scene partner, not robotic, which surprised me. The teleprompter UI felt a bit rigid though, I'd love to scroll back mid-line without losing my place. Promising start for actors working solo.
