Why it exists

A live world flight radar with an AI flight analyst, built with Claude and Bright Data.

Every dot on the map is a real aircraft in the air right now. Click any plane and an AI agent researches it on the live web, returning the airline, route, aircraft type and status, with sources.

The online edition runs in your browser with nothing to install. It is a lighter, free-to-run version: openly licensed flight data refreshed every 30 minutes and a Llama-powered chat. The full app in the repo adds live "Brief me" research with Claude and Bright Data.

Planes glide smoothly between updates, each one dead-reckoned from its real speed and heading. You can also ask questions about the traffic on screen, such as "What's the fastest plane and where is it going?"

Built at the San Francisco Claude Code Build Night: Research with Web Data, October 20, 2026.
