Why it exists

A modern 2D space shooter set in a glowing nebula, with a glassmorphism look and a dark neon theme.

Pilot your ship with the keyboard (WASD or arrows to move, Space to fire, P or Esc to pause) or, on mobile, touch and drag to fly with auto-fire.

Features endless waves of enemies, laser shots with particle effects, enemy explosion animations, a score counter and health bar, power-ups (shield, rapid fire and double bullets), a pause menu and a Game Over screen with restart.

Built with Lovable, TypeScript and Vite.

The neon aesthetic and endless wave format fit casual browser play well, and touch controls alongside desktop support is a sensible choice for reach. One concrete question: how are power-ups distributed across waves, randomly or on a fixed schedule, since that balance often determines whether a shooter feels fair or frustrating as difficulty ramps up over time.
