Being local-first matters to me since I don't want audio leaving my machine, and the one-time payment model is refreshing. Haven't stress-tested it with a flaky mic or background noise yet, which is really where these tools tend to fall apart. The speed claim feels roughly right for straightforward dictation, though I'd want to see how it handles technical vocabulary before trusting it for real work.
