Why it exists

A dependency-free browser app that configures Endgame Gear 8k mice directly over WebHID, built from a reverse-engineered protocol rather than the vendor driver.

Connect a supported mouse in a Chromium browser and it exposes DPI stages, polling rate and lift-off distance, including controls that only appear for the V2 hardware. Vanilla JavaScript, no install, no network.

The pitch covers DPI stages, polling rate and lift-off distance via WebHID, which sounds like a reasonable feature set for a driverless config tool, but it would help to know which specific Endgame Gear 8k models are supported and which browsers/OS combinations WebHID works on, since Chrome-based browsers vary in HID permissions. Does it persist settings on-device or only in-browser per session?
