Why it exists

Noise Timer is a small, open-source Android app that plays white, pink or brown noise with an optional sleep timer and a gentle fade-out over the final seconds.

The noise is generated in real time rather than looped, so there is no audible seam, and it keeps playing in the background. No accounts, no ads, no trackers, no network access. Published on F-Droid.

Automated review based on the public listing, not hands-on testing.

The no ads, no accounts, no network pitch is a clear plus for a bedtime tool, since it means no permission prompts or login friction before you just want silence and noise. One thing worth checking: how granular is the fade-out control, is it a fixed duration or can you set custom minutes to match different sleep routines?
