Why it exists

Ayaki takes a Japanese sentence and draws its bunsetsu-level dependency structure as an interactive arc diagram, with node-tree and CaboCha-style stair views as alternatives.

Click any part to inspect its morphemes, hear it read aloud, or jump to Jisho and Google Translate. Everything runs client-side, with the interface in English, German, Japanese and Chinese.

Been meaning to try something like this for parsing Japanese without installing MeCab locally, so Ayaki is a nice fit. The dependency tree rendering is clean and legible, which matters more than people think when you're staring at nested clauses. Only rough edge is the readings sit a bit close to the morpheme boxes above them, easy to misread on longer sentences. Solid little tool otherwise.
