Tillborne is a top-down farming economy sim where you are not a farmer but a farming mogul, and every click is an economic decision. Buy seeds, grow crops, sell into a dynamic market, hire NPCs to scale up, and try to reach Farm Tycoon status before the seasons run out. In the maker's telling, the entire game was built in a single conversation with an AI, with no frameworks, no build tools and no dependencies, just one HTML file and one canvas. It was made by Toran Bruce Richards, the founder of AutoGPT, for Vibe Jam 2026.

Tried Tillborne on my phone during lunch and the market prices actually feel responsive, not just random number shuffling, which got me hooked faster than I expected. Hiring NPCs is neat but the touch targets for assigning them to specific plots are too small on a 6-inch screen, I kept tapping the wrong tile. Playable, just needs bigger UI elements for mobile.
