Why it exists

Doctor Scheduler builds fair on-call and night-shift rosters for hospital doctors entirely in the browser. A Monte Carlo solver runs hundreds of randomised passes, scoring each on shortages, workload balance and rest gaps.

You add doctors and roles, set daily demands and conflict pairs, and it enforces off-day and rest rules, then exports the result to Excel. Works offline as an installable app.

Rostering is one of those problems that looks simple until you're the one balancing quotas across a real hospital roster, so I appreciate that this tackles it in-browser rather than making you install something clunky. Haven't tried it with a genuinely messy roster yet, but the workload balancing angle is the right thing to focus on. I'd want to see how it handles last-minute swaps before trusting it fully.
